We’re proud to call Peachtree City home. At Peachtree City Urgent Care, we regularly help train the next generation of healthcare providers, and also directly partner with local organizations to improve the healthcare of their members, students, and employees.
While we are giving tours to girl scout troups, giving flu shots at local Churches, and holding wellness fairs at local businesses, we are overjoyed to be an active part of the Peachtree City, Fayette County, and Coweta County communities.
If your church, school, business, or organization has an idea on how we could partner with you to improve the health and wellness of your members, students, or employees, give us a call. We’re happy to discuss your idea.
Some of the community projects we currently participate in are:
The Mercer students that come come to our facility shadow our doctors to gain a better understanding of the healthcare field and their chosen career path. Their advanced standing and training allow them to gain hands-on clinical experience under the direct supervision or our doctors.
Each year we host interns from local high schools. They work a few hours per week at our facility shadowing medical technicians and our doctors. We appreciate the students and are confident that exposure to a real-world clinical setting helps them gain a greater understanding of their career interests.
The Healthcare intern programs have been kind enough to send us awesome thank you notes too. See below.
Thank you for another year of hospitality. Thank you for opening your arms to my students and providing them with invaluable learning experiences. Much appreciated.
